Opening positions

Native English Teacher (Full-time/ Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the classroom environment and educational materials to include provocations, and engaging activities on a daily basis.
  • Work with a teaching assistant/co-teacher as a teaching team, to support learning through play during class times for a specific age group.
  • Act as a supervisor to monitor students' well-being and safety at all times.
  • Prepare daily circle time activities that are age-appropriate and include songs, children's literature, games, music and movement.
  • Prepare regular newsletters for parents that include photographs, videos and text that make the learning visible and include explanations.
  • Communicate and collaborate on a daily basis with teaching assistant/co-teacher and all team members, reflecting on student needs, emergent curriculum, and best practice.
  • Attend team meetings, school events, open houses and professional development opportunities as requested by the Centre Manager.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience with playgroup, kindergarten or international school Native English speaker
  • A university degree and a teacher qualification, eg. Bachelor of education, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), or Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is a plus
  • Genuine interest in and love of children

 

Native French Teacher (Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Assistant (Full-time/ Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the teachers in preparing the classroom environment and educational materials on a daily basis.
  • Follow the teachers' directions to support learning and play during inside and outside activity times.
  • Act as supervisor to monitor students’ well-being during inside and outside activity times.
  • Assist students' personal cleaning, and dressing where required, at school including working with parents and caregivers who have infants younger than two years old.
  • Clean and sterilize the teaching materials and toys as outlined in the Cleaning Rotation within the Health and Safety Policy when the cleaner is not available.
  • Accompany and assist teachers and students during on-site and off-campus activities, including scheduled daily lessons and planned field trips (in the playgroup, outside trips will be kept to a minimum).
  • Communicate on a daily basis with the classroom teachers as first point of contact.
  • Attend team meetings and school events as requested by the Centre Manager

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in and love of children
  • Childcare/ education training or certification (preferred)
  • Relevant experience with playgroup, kindergarten or international school
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • A positive, collaborative team-player with a caring and responsible approach to all major duties

 

Supply Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • We welcome teacher applicants who have a university degree, which includes teacher qualifications or a university degree and a teacher qualification.
  • These include a Bachelor of education, Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), or Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge in Cantonese (or other languages) is preferred.
  • Genuine interest in and love of children
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience with playgroup, kindergarten or international school.

 

Customer Service and Administrative Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general campus administration duties for day-to-day operations
  • Assist in handling student recruitment such as applications, making calls, answering inquiries by phone, email, or personal contact, and the promotion of programs
  • Assist the Centre Manager with record-keeping systems, for example, attendance, incidents, parent reports, budgets, etc. Prepare monthly reports
  • Greet and direct parents, caregivers, students and visitors in a positive way in keeping with our mission and ethos that it is a happy place
  • Be ready to lend a hand to teachers during classroom time when necessary
  • Sort and distribute all incoming mail; arrange couriers; maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Centre Manager

Hours of work

  • 5 or 5.5 days a week including Saturdays

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in and love of children
  • At least 2 years of work experience in customer service or sales (education industry highly preferred)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Mandarin
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, customer oriental and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A positive, collaborative team player with a caring and responsible approach to all major duties

 

Cleaner (Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of designated areas such as classrooms, learning corners, toilets, etc.
  • Cleaning of learning materials and toys
  • Assist with classroom setup and the move of furniture and equipment as required
  • To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager
