I was born in Oakville, Ontario (a small town south of Toronto) and was raised in West Vancouver, British Columbia (BC).
I attended the Sauder School of Business at the University of BC in Vancouver, BC; where, I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Labour Relations and Human Resources. I also hold the Canadian Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
My professional work experience includes roles at a provincial business council and at a provincial health employers’ association – with both roles focusing on labour relations and collective bargaining agreements. My significant professional achievements include the development of a pan-Canadian collective agreement database.
My husband and I have now lived in Hong Kong for 6 years. We have two children, ages 5 and 3. My daughter attended Fairchild’s Toddler and Transition program and it is during this time that I fell in love with Fairchild and its philosophy of learning through play.
When I am not managing my children’s schedule or racing them to their various activities, I enjoy exercising, cooking and planning my family’s next travel adventure!
