Hello, I'm Alexandra. I bring over 5 years of early childhood education experience gained across international settings in Hong Kong and Prague, and I love how those experiences have shaped a rich, cross-cultural perspective in the classroom. My teaching journey is rooted in the belief that young children learn best when they feel inspired, safe, and given space to explore in their own way.
I'm a play-based curriculum practitioner, and I enjoy planning learning through children’s interests—using open-ended resources and natural materials to spark curiosity, wonder, and creative thinking. Whether we’re building, exploring textures, or discovering new stories through discussion and imagination, I aim to make learning feel meaningful, active, and joyful.
English and early language development is another strength of mine. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in media and journalism, I naturally bring storytelling, expressive language, and thoughtful communication into early learning. I love nurturing early language through everyday conversations, pretend play, songs, and creative storytelling moments that help children feel confident to speak, listen, and share their ideas.
My journey with young children began with a love of movement. I started as a dance teacher, and I’ve led both babywearing dance class and fun, upbeat toddler dance parties. Through these classes, I’ve learned how rhythm, gesture, and music can build confidence and connection from the very earliest age - helping babies and toddlers feel safe, participate at their own pace, and enjoy expressing themselves freely.
As a mother of two (ages 2 and 3.5), I understand the wonder and energy of early childhood firsthand, and I bring that warmth and attention into how I support each child’s pace, independence, and confidence. I'm always excited to explore fresh ideas that encourage children to express themselves freely and creatively and I'm truly looking forward to helping your child begin their learning journey through play, movement, storytelling, and meaningful discovery.
