Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, I have spent the last 13 years in Hong Kong, working across playgroup and kindergarten in both local and international settings. I’m a qualified Reception Year teacher, with a CELTA certification from Cambridge University, and I bring a strong passion for early childhood learning—where every child’s curiosity is nurtured, celebrated, and supported.
As a mother, I deeply understand how important it is for young children to feel emotionally safe, supported, and confident—so they can explore their world with joy and purpose.
In my playgroup classes, I focus on building engaging, sensory-rich and imagination-filled experiences, with learning driven through play, interaction, and exploration. I believe children learn best when they are actively involved—communicating, trying, experimenting, and discovering through hands-on activities. My goal is to create a warm, positive environment where children feel valued for who they are, and where their confidence grows naturally day by day.
Alongside my playgroup teaching, I have over six years of drama teaching experience, preparing learners for the Trinity Bronze, Silver, and Gold examinations. I also have extensive experience supporting children with Cambridge English young learner exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers)—helping them develop communication skills in a fun and confident way.
I’m truly looking forward to bringing this experience into our playgroup setting—creating exciting learning journeys that are playful, supportive, and full of discovery. Together, we’ll celebrate small wins, grow children’s confidence, and build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
